Vineyard Notes

Crafted from the select block from Alta vineyards in Oak Knoll, it offers an exceptional portfolio of wines, each highly limited and bearing the distinct signature of its origin. The varietals including Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are big and juicy, an astounding reflection of Napa terroir.

Winemaking Note

Fermentation for 14 days: Whole Berries, Inoculation with Xpure after Cold soak for 2 days, Punch down twice daily until 5 brix, then once daily until 0 brix. Natural Malolactic fermentation. Aging for 22 months in 100% French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

2021 INNOVATUS Cabernet Franc - Beautiful soft ruby, blackberry, plum, red cherry candy, violet, cola, chocolate, vanilla, toast, bay leaf, and white pepper. Silky smooth, sleek, and elegant, present but not overwhelming with a long, persistent, layered finish.
