It is a beautiful and sexy wine!

"Profound wine with smooth and soft tannin. Delectable aromas of black current and bitter sweet dark chocolate, combined with nuances of rose. Intense dark berry flavors on the palate give way to a seamless and silky texture with well-integrated oak for a delicate finish. It’s very Old World-esque, but from the New World because it is higher in alcohol."

Cecil Park, Wine designer at Winefornia

"In the glass, the wine shows medium ruby color moving to a pink meniscus in the rim. Mostly black fruits, including black raspberry and black cherry, are nicely integrated with violet, bay leaf and coffee aromas. It has maturing mouthfeel with a touch of cigar box and cocoa; and yet the black currant, cherry and red plum keeps the bright youthfulness to the wine. Medium alcohol, medium acidity and silky tannin make wine well balanced."

"A soft full wine that opens with a slight dusty earthiness above rich cassis and bitter sweet chocolate. Smooth tannins make this wine easy to drink with or without food. It lingers at the end with mint and eucalyptus."

Zoe Schmitz, Winemaker at Two Miles

"This wine starts off with a hit of freshly charred oak, leading into fresh pencil shavings and a little dried forest floor.  These woodsy aromatics are cut by a very clean bing cherry and slightly underripe strawberry note.  With a little more air, some vanilla works in to soften the woodsy aromatics and meld with the soft fruit.  There is an appealing heaviness to the nose reminiscent of petrichor.  In the mouth there is more of the woodsiness and vanilla leading to the impression of bourbon.  This is enhanced by the tannins to leave a long, warm finish.  The fruit shines throughout with a fresh cherry and strawberry cleanliness."
